Written the same night in 1980 that I was told by Austin Anderson (Sleepy) that
Carolyn and members of her family had been gunned down.

We are now at a time, our nation building
We need everyone, her part to play.
And Promise, was her first name
Promise. What a shame!

In our dark world with so few lights shining
A light has gone out
