Messiah

He has come, Maranatha, He has come.

The Messiah the world had waited for
Without fanfare, there was no open door
Not condemning, but life to give more.

Our High Priest and rent the veil in twain
Seat of mercy, we freely enter in
Gave His life blood, remitting all our sin.

I am so glad He is here today

He is come, Maranatha, He is come.

Mediator, we're justified in Him
God the Father sees us now without sin
Giving strength our battles here to win

Left a comfort(er), His Spirit to stay
"Never leave you, I'll never go away"
"Thank you Master" is all that I can say.

I am so glad He is coming back

He shall come, Maranatha, He shall come.

In a moment, the twinkling of an eye
With a great shout descending from the sky
For His children, and the we'll never die.

Joyous meeting when His dear face I'll see
Grand reunion of all the saints will be
No more time for we shall live eternally.
