COMPLETE MUSIC
and MUSICIAN

Music is not a phenomenon of written notes alone. Nor is music a phenomenon of just sound. Music is as much a phenomenon of the written note as it is the sound. Both eye and ear are important--for interpreting, for understanding, for creating, for listening, for enjoying. Since complete music consists of note music and ear music, we see the complete musician as one who, among other things, has the competence to play or sing, work and create, listen and enjoy by written note and by ear at whatever level the musician is.

MUSIC IS MATHEMATICAL

It is sound being manipulated intentionally by persons who have the gift and knowledge of skillfuly accomplishing the task. The knowledge
comes from study. The skill comes from proper practice. The gift comes from God.
