ColeMusiq Voice Ranges

If we organize voices according to gender, we get two voices--male and female. If we further organize the voices into low and high, we get tenor and bass (male) and soprano and alto (female). The true professional ranges are in fact a little out of reach for most persons. Most of us sing in the middle between high and low. That’s where we get baritone (male) and mezzo-soprano (female). This gives us then, six designations--three for men and three for women. For ease of remembering, we have used a two (2) octave range for each of the six voices. All range designations are approximate anyway, and we have used two octaves in order to use one letter for each range.
