Course and Fee Info

The graded syllabuses of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and those of Trinity Guildhall are used for the externally examined portions of our offerings.

The fee each term covers:

  • ten weekly INSTRUMENT lessons
  • ten weekly MUSICIANSHIP group classes
  • use of reading reference library
  • use of listening reference library.



Our term fees for 2008-2009 are:

$8,500 Musicianship classes ONLY

$16,500 ONE instrument (except drums)

$16,500 PLAY BY EAR (piano)

$23,500 TWO instruments (except drums)

$23,500 Drums

There are special discounts for two or more family members and for pastors families. Please ask if you are eligible.

Examination classes, exam fees, and books are extra, and amount to approximately $7,500 per year for beginners, payable at the published times of the examining bodies.
Note: As of January 2008, we will add 10% to the store price for books and materials purchased at Music Mart to cover the cost of the service to you.

Payments may be made by personal or manager's cheque, by debit or credit card, or by bank voucher.

You may ask "How can I know if a student is making progress?" We provide three opportunities each year for students to demonstrate progress. These five are a combination of performance and examination events as follows:



ABRSM Practical Exams MARCH-MAY
ABRSM Theory Exams in MAY/JUNE
YearEnd Recital in JUNE




$2,500 per hour Consultation to advanced or special students for voice, theory, harmony, composition.

$5,000 for two-hour seminars and workshops up to 25 persons at our location. Add $100 per person thereafter.
