Music Personality of the Month (MPM)

You can have the album of your choice from our showcase by participating in the Music Personality of the Month feature. This feature will not be on the Masters (Beethoven, Mozart, et al) but on "other lights" of today and yesterday. The feature will include Caribbean music performers and personaities in various genres, and will include composers and critics.

Here is how we will present the feature: sometime between the 5th and the 15th of the month, the name of the featured person will be posted on the site.

If you are a registered user of the site, whether student or not, you may participate and be rewarded with an album if you are the first to supply five (5) pieces of information on the featured person/s in the format specified below. This must be submitted by comment right on the site. We are unable to accept submissions by email, voicemail, snailmail, or any means other than comments posted on the site.

Comments posted are to have five (5) numbered pieces of information and no more, in the order given, and without being dupicated in any of the 5 pieces.

Here are the five (5) pieces of information in the order to be submitted:
1. Where (city, country) person born
2. What is the person known for being (pianist, composer, critic, vocalist, etc.)
3. When was the person born; and if deceased, year of decease
4. Name of a family member (father, mother, sister, brother, spouse)
5. Name of a musical work/piece associated with the person.
