En el lugar escolar

We want for students and teachers to have maximum benefit engaging in the process of learning and teaching. We have put together some guidelines that come from our experience and the wisdom of others in order that the maximum benefit we seek is realized. Please explain these to younger students and make comments to modify or add to these as you see fit and necessary.
Instruments are easily damaged by moisture. Food attracts insects that can also destroy the instruments, hence no food or drink is to be brought or consumed en el lugar escolar.Food and drink consumed outside will leave a residue on your hands. Good playing is easily compromised by hand residue; and particles left on the instruments attract insects. Please wash your hands in the bathroom on the left of the corridor prior to beginning a lesson or practice en el lugar escolar.
In order not to disturb a session in progress, please minimize talking, playing, singing etc., when in the waiting area, at the admin desk, or outside.
In order not to disturb a session in progress, please turn off mobile telephones when en el lugar escolar. We will gladly receive and deliver to you any message from your parents, children, spouses, friends or others. If we are alerted that it is an emergency, we will immediately notify you. The two telephone numbers that you are to give to any likely callers are: 901.1996 and 923.4998.
The displays that are mounted en el lugar escolar are for your viewing and learning. Feel free to inspect them closely, but please do not attempt to dismount or otherwise disturb or touch them. We want them to be able to serve many generations of ColeMusiq students and teachers to come.
